My Proposal:

1. Allow offshore drilling. (+100)
2. Transfer low level offenders to county jails. (+100)
3. Turn illegal immigrants over to federal custody. (+180)
4. Early release for non-violent offenders. (+120)
5. Increase alcohol tax by a nickel. (+580)
6. Raise corporate income tax 1.5% (+470)
7. Charge a 9.9% severance tax for drilling for oil in CA. (+855)
8. Increase sales tax on cigarettes by $1.50. (+1200)
9. Increase income tax for high earners by 1%. (+5000)
10. Take 8% of government property tax revenue. (+2000)
11. Require 3% withholding from independent contractors. (+2000)
12. Allow assessments for commercial property to rise. (+2000)
13. Broaden sales tax. (+1100)
14. Add a furlough day for government workers. (+450)
15. Accelerate tax withholding. (+2300)
16. Raise the gas tax by .32 per gallon (+5800)

The result is a $310,000 surplus. If the Governator needs me, he knows where to find me.
